Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre
Shop the latest fashion at this grand mall in Gillingham which includes over 50 stores such as Sainsbury’s, Pandora and Argos. There are many places to eat too with Bella Italia and Nando’s just two of the many options.
Strand Leisure Park
An enjoyable seafront water park with an open-air swimming pool. If you’re looking to keep up your fitness routine while on a business trip, then you can get your laps in here.
It’s also right next to the Segas Sailing club if you fancy a bit of sea adventure.
Chatham is a Medway town situated within the unitary authority, in Northern Kent, South East England. Widely known for its dockyard which closed in 1984, it still has a flourishing tourist industry because of the remaining naval buildings.
It’s a quaint little town, but there’s not much to do unless you enjoy long walks in the countryside and spending your free time at a maritime museum.

Besides the dockyard and vast surrounding countryside, there isn’t much more than visiting the Huguenot Museum, enjoying the green space of Capstone Country Park or kart racing at Buckmore Park.
So, if you’re into small towns with little more than relaxing on the agenda, then this is the place for you.
If you compare the two towns, the main difference would have to be the accommodation options available.
