Maintenance Officer

The Person

The role will form part of the operations team reporting to the Operations Director, in KH Homes. You will be working with an established team and will be expected to ensure properties are maintained in line with the KH Homes' set standards and OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).

As a Maintenance Officer your responsibilities will include the following:

   👉 Reacting quickly to any issues that arise across our properties

   👉 Undertaking routine maintenance 

   👉 Painting and decorating

   👉 Carrying out routine plumbing jobs

   👉 Managing various ongoing projects

   👉 Ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner

   👉 Ordering of maintenance consumables where required

What you'll need to succeed

   👉 Previous experience in an Office Management role

   👉 Excellent, recent references 

   👉 Proven background working in similar office environments.

   👉 Adaptability and flexibility in your approach 

   👉 High level of people management

   👉 Experience working as a Handyman / Handywoman / Maintenance Operative or similar 

  👉 Experience of painting and decorating 

   👉 Plumbing skills 

   👉 Electrical skills would be highly beneficial 

   👉 Experience with rapid rise doors would be ideal 

   👉 Experience with tiling, flooring and joinery is beneficial 

   👉 Able to use hand/power tools 

   👉 Excellent communication skills

   👉 Able to self-start, have a can-do attitude and work well as part of a team

   👉 Full UK Driving Licence and use of own vehicle
